Abstract

Ayurveda as a holistic medical science has a sound idealistic and experimental basis.

To find the root cause of illness in Ayurveda certain examinations are obligatory to be

conducted. Pariksha term is used for the Examinations done on patient for proper

diagnosis. Diagnosis of a disease is very crucial in today’s clinical practice. Proper

examination of patient and disease is the path to success in your clinical practice.

Rognidan consist of knowledge of etiology and symptomatology both and includes the

pathology. To diagnose the ailment of the patient is the prime duty of any Physician. The

diagnosis cannot be done just only on the basis of any one type of examination. Rog

Pariksha is one of the method with the assistance of which we come to

the particular conclusion approximately the nature and localization of injury and cause

of enduring of a individual. This process can helps to build up a doctor-patient relationship

Different types of examinations have been mentioned in Ayurveda which can still are

useful in diagnosing of the various diseases in patients, Ayurveda has mentioned in

detail about the various Parikshas which have been categorized in Trividh, Panchvidh,

Shadvidh, Ashtavidha Parikshaha been mentioned. Here Trividha Pariksha implies Darshan

Pariksha Sparshanand Pariksha and Prashnaand Pariksha and its all angles will be talked

about in this article.
