Concept of shadras siddhnta in Ayurveda

The word Rasa different meanings as per classics. Among them, the one which is perceived
through rasendriya is known as Rasa. It is also known as Pradhana rasa, i.e primary taste or
main taste. Shadras siddhanta is a important siddhant in ayurveda .it explain about six rasa
ie madhur ,amala, lavana, katu,kashaya, tikta. This topic is covered in the Acharya by
explaining the functions of shadrasas in Panchamahabhoot and Tridosha. Rasas are different
in Ayurveda.According to Acharya Punarbasu Atreya the updesta of Charak samhita rasa is
six types.The taste of all foods are included within this six types of rasas. Each rasa have
their own gun,karma & prabhav.This rasas are cause for different types of action in the
body.According to Acharya shadras yukta food is the best food.So,we should take each rasa
in proper portion in our food. The high or low quantity of rasa may cause different types of
diseases in our body . This considerate regarding appreciation of each taste, their qualities,
potentials and attributes their functions in advanced and current researches. Each of the Said
Rasa is explained in the classics with a set of guna, (attributes) and Karma (actions), origins,
action of rasa on tridosa.
