Abstract

The increasing demand for sustainability in chemical processes has led to the development of

green chemistry, emphasizing the need for environmentally friendly and efficient chemical

reactions. Central to this movement is the development of green catalysts that minimize energy

usage, reduce waste, and enable renewable resource utilization. This paper explores the synthesis

of novel green catalysts, highlighting their applications in various sustainable chemical reactions,

such as biomass conversion, water splitting, and CO₂ reduction. The advantages, challenges, and

potential future directions in the development of these catalysts are discussed.
